Imagine being able to change anything about the way your smile looks. A straighter, whiter smile helps you feel your best and can give you the confidence you need when you’re in professional or social environments. Dr. Myers offers customized cosmetic dental therapy that is tailored to meet the individual needs and goals of each patient. No case is too big or too small! In most cases, our patients choose a combination of cosmetic procedures to create a beautiful smile one tooth at a time. And with our Trios 4 Intraoral Scanner, we have the ability to show you the minute details of your teeth, gums, and entire mouth with full color, 3D imaging. That means no more goopy impressions, and the highest level of accuracy and fit for all of our cosmetic options.

There’s a cosmetic service for just about every budget! Let us know what you want your smile to look like, and the budget you have in mind. We’ll show you a variety of options to select from, and present the pros and cons of each one based on your smile goals. Our treatment cases help correct the appearance of teeth that are:

  • Discolored or stained
  • Chipped, broken, or fractured
  • Mishappen
  • Short or narrow
  • Gummy smiles

Porcelain Veneers

Looking for a Hollywood smile that knocks people’s socks off? Porcelain veneers can do just that. Whether your teeth are crowded, gapped, discolored or broken, porcelain veneers can re-shape the look of your entire smile. The end results are teeth that look perfectly white and straight from the moment your veneers are placed over your teeth. After a consultation with Dr. Myers, there will be a preparation appointment to adjust your teeth and choose the color, size, and shape of veneers. In some cases, Dr. Myers will create a set of wax teeth for you to try on before your final veneers are installed. Once your permanent veneers are ready, a short visit is all that is needed to bond them into place.

Minimal Prep Veneers

Durathins minimal prep veneers offer an alternative, and completely reversible, treatment. It requires little to no tooth preparation, your healthy underlying tooth enamel is preserved. That means that if a veneer ever breaks or falls off, you don’t have to rush right back to have a new one made. Durathins are just as strong as traditional veneers, but the thin resin material also provides a more translucent appearance, making them look more like a natural tooth. An impression of your teeth is all that we need to get started. In about 2 weeks your Durathins are ready to be bonded directly over your teeth for a brand new smile.

Full Mouth Restoration

If missing, broken, or worn out teeth are keeping you from having a healthy smile as well as one you’re proud of, then full mouth restoration is the answer. Each full mouth restoration case is different from the next. Dr. Myers will tailor treatment using a combination of restorative and cosmetic procedures, such as porcelain crowns, implants, white fillings, and crown lengthening to help bring your smile back to ideal function and beauty.

Crown Lengthening

Teeth can occasionally be too short to treat with restorations or cosmetic procedures like ceramic crowns or veneers. Crown lengthening helps provide more visible tooth surface by adjusting the edge of the gumlines. This procedure is also useful when combined with periodontal therapy in patients who have gum disease, to help them have cleaner, healthier teeth. Crown lengthening enables us to restore or treat your teeth, rather than give up on them, by taking advantage of healthy tooth structure just below the gumline.

Gum and Tooth Recontouring

Uneven gumlines and teeth can make smiles look lopsided, shorter than normal, or “gummy.” By recontouring the edges of teeth and the shape of the gumlines, your smile can appear fuller and straighter. Recontouring is often used in combination with other treatments such as whitening or bonding. Both procedures are very simple to complete and causes little to no discomfort during your appointment.

Composite Bonding

Small chips in the edges of teeth or gaps between the teeth can easily be changed thanks to tooth colored composite bonding. This material is similar to that used in white fillings. Carefully matched to the surrounding enamel, it looks just like a natural part of your tooth. When placed, shaped, and smoothed into the small irregularities of your teeth, it can make teeth look fuller and shapelier.

Smile Whitening

Whitening is one of the easiest, most affordable ways to transform your smile. Over time our teeth look older and darker due to the stains that are soaked up into the enamel from what we eat and drink. If you love coffee or use tobacco products, you’ll experience even more staining. Thankfully, our whitening treatments can naturally remove deep-set stains and give you teeth that are much whiter and younger in appearance.

In-Office Whitening

Our one-hour, in-office teeth whitening procedure gives patients brighter smiles in a single appointment. We begin by covering and protecting your gums, continue by applying professional whitening gel directly to the teeth, and finish the process by exposing the gel to a bright light, speeding the stain-removal action. In-office whitening is a great option for people who want whiter teeth in just one day. Patients who choose in-office whitening can also take part in our Whitening for Life program. Just keep your preventive care appointments every 6 months, and you’ll have whiter teeth for life! We’ll send you home with a free touch-up whitening gel to keep new stains from forming and remove the new stains that build up between your cleaning appointments.

Take Home Whitening Trays

Some patients would rather brighten their teeth at home. We offer customized take home trays and Ultradent whitening gel so that you can safely and professionally whiten your teeth on your own time. For best results, whitening trays should be worn the first time for 1-2 hours a day for up to 2 weeks. You’ll want to touch up every 3-6 months to maintain results.

Orthodontics

Sometimes there’s nothing wrong with your teeth, you just wish they were straighter. If you don’t want to wear traditional braces or spend a year or more straightening your teeth, then Six Month Smiles is a wonderful option. These cosmetic braces are perfect for adults and older teens who want straighter front teeth. Each bracket is made of clear, tooth-colored material that blends in with your smile, and treatment takes only about 6 months on average.
